Although aprons are worn for messy activities such as painting, it is inevitable that children will get dirty. It is therefore recommended that you do not dress your child in their best clothes. The Pre-School also sells blue and pink t-shirts and sweatshirts with the Apple logo for your convenience.

Where possible we try to take the children outside to play. It is common sense but please ensure they have suitable warm clothes in the winter and in the summer please send hat and have all day long suncream applied before coming to pre-school. Please bring some indoor shoes for your child to change into and wellingtons for outdoor play.

Healthy, balanced school meals are provided at an additional cost of £2.10 per day. If your child is having a packed lunch please provide a balanced meal, avoiding sugary snacks and crisps. Healthy snacks are also provided throughout the day. In our recent OFSTED inspection, it was recommended that each child brings a named water bottle on a daily basis.

If your child is still in nappies, please ensure you pack enough nappies/wipes each day. Unfortunately we do not have the facility to dispose of them so you will be asked to take them home at the end of each session. We also recommend that you pack sufficient changes of clothing in case of accidents.
