If our Pre-School is full at the time that a new child requires a place, they are placed on our waiting list. Children on the waiting list are allocated places on an age priority basis, i.e. the oldest child requiring a place on a particular day will be given priority. When demand is very high for places we restrict the number of sessions that a child is allocated by age: 2-2 1/2 years maximum 2 sessions/week; 2 1/2-3 years maximum 3/4 sessions/week and once eligible for funding maximum 5 sessions/week.

Fees are charged at £12.00 per session and £24.00 per day. Fees are payable half termly in advance, you will be billed at the beginning of each term by the Administrator.

As we are a member of the Leeds Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership we can apply for grants for 3 and 4 year olds. This means that from the term after a child is 3 they are able to have 5 free sessions a week; a session being a morning or afternoon. A full day – 8:45 – 15:10 counts for 2 sessions. We apply for all our 3 and 4 year olds on a termly basis and we are usually told which children have been allocated grants midways through the term. If your child attends more than 5 sessions a week, you will be billed for the additional sessions accordingly.

In the event of the school closing due to bad weather, parents will be notified by email (if an email address has been provided) and announcements on Radio Leeds and Radio Aire as well as being posted on this website. Session fees are not refundable however lunch fees are.

Relationships between children and adults are excellent and the warm and friendly atmosphere does much for children’s sense of security." OFSTED
